John Scott

John Scott nasceu em Bristol, Inglaterra. Seu pai, músico, integrou a Bristol Police Band. Aos seis anos John iniciou com ele o aprendizado de violino e, mais tarde, de clarinete. Aos quatorze anos entrou para o exército como "Boy Musician" a fim de continuar sua educação musical. Estudou clarinete e harpa. Depois, sob a influência do jazz, especialmente de Charlie Parker e das "big swing bands" de então, começou a estudar saxofone. Àquela altura o exército lhe proporcionara tal experiência que pouco depois de deixar a Royal Artillery Band ele já excursionava com as bandas da época.
Com a Ted Heath's Band começou a ser notado como arranjador de talento, razão de ter sido contratado pela EMI para organizar e dirigir sessões de gravação para artista populares. Junto de George Martin, renomado por produzir os Beatles, gravou com Tom Jones, Cilla Black, The Hollies (com quem obteve o mega hit "He ain't heavy, he's my brother").
Durante os Anos Sessenta, John liderou um quinteto de jazz muito popular que se apresentava regularmente em emissoras. John também tocava para vários compositores do cinema e almejava se aperfeiçoar no campo da música cinematográfica. Tocar com compositores como Henry Mancini e John Barry deu-lhe o conhecimento necessário. Sua primeira trilha sonora foi para o filme "A Study in Terror", em 1968.
São de John Scott as trilhas do documentário de Jacques Custeau "Amazônia", dos filmes "Antony and Cleopatra", "Greystoke - The Legend of Tarzan", "The Final Countdown" e dezenas de outros.

Hugo Montenegro

Hugo Mario Montenegro nasceu na cidade de Nova York. Ele estudou no Manhattan College e enquanto estudava composição, conduzia a sua própria banda para a escola de dança. Posteriormente foi contratado pela Time Records como diretor musical, produzindo uma série de álbuns para a gravadora, mudando-se para Los Angeles no início dos anos 60, onde passou a trabalhar para a RCA, produzindo uma série de álbuns e trilhas sonoras para cinema e temas para televisão, tais como os dois volumes para The Man From UNCLE, o álbum cover de temas de espionagem Come Spy With Me e The Man With no Name de Clint Eastwood, da série do "spaghetti westerns". As versões dos clássicos de Ennio Morricone como The Good, The Bad and The Ugly alcançaram grande sucesso também. Após o sucesso de seus álbuns, foi contratado pela Columbia, onde fez as trilhas sonoras de Hurry Sundown e para dois filmes da série Matt Helm. Pela Screm Gems ele fez o conhecido tema da série I Dream Of Jeannie, a música tema Seattle e a música de Here Come The Brides e The OutCasts. Em meados dos anos 60, ele começou a produzir trabalhos para as músicas pop, eletrônica e rock com álbuns como Moog Power e Mammy Blue. Se tornou influente e determinante para as futuras gerações da música eletrônica, usando o moog e tornando-o popular.
Hugo Montenegro ficou gravemente doente com um enfisema pulmonar no final dos anos 70, vindo a falecer da doença em 1981.
